Safety Cornwall will act as your nominated Health and Safety Competent Person / Adviser, providing advice which is in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
 
Our responsibility as safety advisers and consultants is to provide clients with accurate, reliable and appropriate advice, which is in line with relevant approved codes of practice, government guidance, etc., and which also aligns to industry standards, best practice, etc.
 
The scope of our service support will include health and safety, fire safety and food safety, as appropriate to your individual business needs. 

We provide a free 'helpdesk' service to clients, in response to email or phone enquiries, whether in regard to health and safety, fire safety or food safety.

We work to a professional code of ethics which is set down by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and we carry significant professional indemnity insurance.
 
We send out regular information updates by webmail, featuring current and topical issues of importance, whether concerning health and safety, fire safety or food safety.

We represent your best interests and act as intermediary between you and the enforcing authority, or other agency, in situations where matters of contention or challenge may arise.

We offer immediate 24/7 response to accidents or incidents.  If needed, we will attend the scene as soon as possible and assist with investigations, witness interviews, RIDDOR reports, etc. We can provide ongoing support and advice to clients where an incident is followed by litigation, whether it involves criminal or civil proceedings.

We will provide you with a certificate of retention as evidence that you rely upon us for professional support and advice.
